DFH

Dansk Fjernvarme Handelsselskab (DFH) is a cooperative, non-profit company established under Dansk Fjernvarme. DFH exists to support district heating companies by solving tasks that individual member companies often lack the capacity or specialised knowledge to handle themselves.

Operating on a non-profit basis, DFH ensures that member companies only pay the actual cost of services and the time spent delivering them. This collective model enables shared solutions to be delivered more efficiently and at a lower cost, benefitting all members through economies of scale. 

DFH primarily supports its member companies within areas such as regulatory and authority handling, administration and procurement. By taking responsibility for these tasks, DFH helps ease the day-to-day workload of district heating companies, allowing employees to focus on their core mission: delivering reliable heat to end customers.

The purpose of DFH is to create room for member companies to utilise their competencies in the best possible way. Through collaboration and shared services, DFH strengthens the operational foundation of Danish district heating companies and contributes to a more efficient and well-functioning district heating sector.
